Fast fashion retailer H&M has just announced its latest high-low collaboration—and it's a major one! This November, French designer Isabel Marant will be following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Viktor & Rolf, and Stella McCartney, teaming up with the Swedish superstore to create a signature collection at a pricepoint that won't break the bank.
"I aim at creating something real—something women want to wear in their everyday lives—with a certain carefree style," Marant said in a statement. "I think this is very Parisian: You dress up, but don't pay too much attention to it, and you still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be combined following one's own instincts, and my take on fashion is all about personality."
If Marant's own eponymous collections are anything to go by, her H&M endeavor will likely embody the careful mix of carefree bohemian, urban sophisticate, and rock and roll spirit that defines her signature aesthetic.
The Isabel Marant for H&M collection will arrive in stores November 14th.
