Well This is a New Look, Coach!

Stuart Vevers culls a more downtown approach to Coach's signature look. Do you like the brand's new direction?

Coach creative director Stuart Vevers (who replaced Reed Krakoff after he made a surprising exit after 16 years with the brand) presented largely black clothing accented with plaid, leather and shearling for his Fall 2015 collection—his third season with the company.

The line was packed with distinctly downtown pieces that call to mind a rebellious, punk-rock bad girl-type. It's a collection that delves even deeper into the effort by Vevers to push Coach in a new, fashion-forward direction (as he began to do with Spring 2015 and Fall 2014). The pieces will likely do well with East Coast shoppers used to tougher clothing in subdued hues but will it resonate with the brand's loyal customers in other parts of the country? We'll be watching closely to see how Vevers builds on this theme. What do you think of the brand's new look?
