Current Obsession: Dune London Shoes

Current Obsession: Dune London Shoes(Source: Dune; Fri Sandal, $109; Finchy Sandal, $114)My first encounter with London’s high street fashion went something like this: I was 12 years old, already angsty and clothes-obsessed, and less than enthusiastic about my across-the-pond family vacation. Then a pair of peach canvas sneakers in Jigsaw’s window caught my eye. They were cheap enough that my mom couldn’t find a single reason not to make them mine. And thus my love for the UK’s fast-fashion chain stores was born.

Fast forward to 2014, and—thank the shopping gods—I no longer need a passport to get my high street fix. There’s a Topshop in my neighborhood, and Miss Selfridge, Oasis and Dune London now ship to my doorstep—the latter of which stocks the coolest, chicest, most ridiculously affordable shoes I've seen in some time.
Current Obsession: Dune London Shoes(Source: Dune; Harrah Jewel-Heeled Sandal, $125; Jaden Flat Sandal, $65)Among Dune London's spring and summer collection, covetable styles—few of which top $150—positively abound. There are a bevy of perfectly minimalist block-heeled sandals ($109) in shades such as nude, tan and berry pink. There are sporty, rubber-soled slides ($65) and sandals ($175) that offer a polished alternative to the season's Birkenstock craze. There are chunky jewel-heeled sandals I'll be wearing to at least one of my upcoming outdoor weddings.

The Duchess of Cambridge seems to have a soft spot for Dune's demure espadrille wedges ($141). You can shop her faves, and the rest of Dune's adorable footwear, here
