It's outpacing the likes of 'Sex and the City 2' and the 'Hangover' sequels.

Moviegoers have even dirtier minds than we thought! We already knew Fifty Shades of Grey had a built in audience eagerly awaiting the movie, but we didn't know it was going to move tickets quite so fast. The movie opens on February 13, but with tickets already available for pre-sale, online ticket service Fandango says it's their fastest selling R-rated movie ever.

Of course, thanks to the MPAA's official description, we know it's been rated R for "Unusual Behavior" — our favorite new euphemism for kink.

The previous R-rated record holder was Sex and the City 2, followed by two Hangover movies and Gone Girl. While Fandango hasn't provided solid numbers, they say Fifty Shades is also the fastest-selling non-sequel movie since the first Hunger Games

The high demand has theater owners adding showtimes for the kinky movie, based on E.L. James bestseller. It'll star Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as the book's protagonist, Anastasia.
