Livingly: What is the most important thing to consider when throwing a holiday cocktail party?
"Make-ahead dishes are key so that you can enjoy the company of your family and friends. A giant punch bowl is great for a signature cocktail so that you're not running back and forth all night making drinks!"
What makes a great cocktail party?
"The best ones I've been to have always had fantastic music, a few games to get people talking and flowing, and one-bite snacks so that people aren't solely focused on eating."
What entertaining trend are you loving these days?
"I'm loving the idea of people getting creative in the kitchen and doing 'potluck' gatherings. Everyone brings an appetizer or small dish!"
Any tips for hosting a party on a budget?
"One-pot meals are affordable and you can make it in bulk. Again, the return of the cocktail punch bowl is key!"
What is your favorite part of the holiday season?
"Spending time and making memories with family and friends. Although a perfectly juicy turkey always makes me feel fantastic!"
Could you share a favorite family holiday tradition you have?
"We always have a sit down dinner. I love throwing together a menu and making menu cards and place cards for all of the guests!"
