Robert Pattinson Debuts Shaved Head at Comic-Con

We can't decide whether legions of teenage girls are screaming in delight or crying in anguish over Robert Pattinson's new hair cut. The hunky star shaved the right side of his head in order to prepare for a new movie role and debuted his edgy new cut at the Twilight press conference at Comic-Con.

Robert's new film is Cosmopolis, where he plays multi-billionaire asset manager Eric Parker who ventures across Manhattan to get a haircut, but is faced with multiple obstructions in a modernist dream-like sequence that's been compared to James Joyce's Ulysses. The book it's based on, by Don DeLillo, didn't receive overall stellar reviews, but here's hoping Robert's movie will be better received. Cosmopolis hits screens in 2012.

Hope the teens like their idols with a bit of edge!
