Tools:
A hairbrush
A comb
Two clear hair elastics
A few bobby pins
Hairspray
A smoothing pomade (optional)
Steps:
1. Use a brush to smooth hair into a ponytail at the mid to nape of your neck. Secure with a small rubber elastic.

2. Take a small section of hair from the ponytail (about a half inch thick) and pull it aside.

3. Wrap the section of hair around the ponytail to hide the elastic and secure with a bobby pin. Spritz the ponytail with hairspray (or smoothing pomade, if you prefer) and comb through to smooth the tail.

4. Use another small elastic to segment the ponytail midway down the shaft.

5. Spread apart the newly formed section into two. Flip the bottom part of the end of the ponytail up and through the opening.

6. Repeat step four again, midway between the end of the ponytail and the second elastic.

7. Repeat step five again. Spray the entire ponytail with hairspray to smooth flyaways and frizz.
