Who: Kino MacGregor, yoga expert for Grokker, an on-demand fitness and cooking streaming site. 
Best fitness advice ever received: "Take each movement on its own and be completely present in each breath. Let go of all-or-nothing thinking. So many people think that they have to do a maximum routine to get the benefits and if they can’t do it all, they will simply not do anything. With as little as five minutes a day, you can make a positive impact of your health and well-being. Just get on your yoga mat every day!"
Favorite pre- or post-workout snack: "It is not advised to eat directly before deep yoga asana practice so I rarely eat anything before my practice. My favorite post-yoga snack is to start off with pure coconut water. I find coconut water more hydrating and satisfying directly after my yoga practice than plain water."
Favorite workout gear: "Side string shorts ($43) and a bandeau top ($40)."
Gym bag beauty essential: "Mineral sunblock powder ($38). It's perfect for a quick touch up with sun protection to and from the yoga center."


Go-to exercise: Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series (about 10 minutes)
"I practice four out of the six series of the Ashtanga Yoga method, but I find this one to be the most basic and healing. That’s why I did a series on this method for Grokker. I wanted to make this simple kind of healing available to the masses."
