6. Baby Steps
Often when we try to make a change or aim to take on something new, we're quickly stopped in our tracks by feeling completely overwhelmed. If you can take a giant first step—more power to you!—but baby steps are also just as effective. Don't feel that you need to go from 0 to 100 real quick (see what I did there?), because baby steps are an excellent way to get your toes wet. Candace told me, "Whatever your challenge, even if it's something small: baby steps." As long as you set your aim, baby steps are still steps in the right direction.
