7. Make A We're-Apart Tradition
To make the distance between you less depressing, make a we're-apart tradition. For example, every Friday the two of you can make a seasonal cocktail (caramel white russians, anyone?) and call each other on the phone to talk. Or every Tuesday but holiday cupcakes and send a pic of you biting into them. It's a small tradition, but it'll keep you connected.
