How to Not Get Sick When You Travel

Sun protection may not cross your mind as a major health concern, but there is such a thing as sun poisoning. Since I have very pale skin, I’m an obsessive sunscreen wearer. My tan fiancé, however, is not and paid for this dearly on our last trip to Mexico. While my pasty complexion managed to avoid even a tan, he wound up with severe burns that blistered and caused extreme pain for weeks after our return.
