Any true lover of shoes knows that each fantastically wrought stiletto, platform and boot tells a tale all its own. Manolo Blahnik, who of course revolutionized the designer shoe market, says he makes up a story for every shoe he creates.
The footwear designer—whose creations were made famous Sarah Jessica Parker as Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw—envisions characters and tales throughout his creative process. He says that's where he finds inspiration. According to his niece, Kristina Blahnik,

Manolo himself told The Independent newspaper: "I just go crazy. It excites me when I do
something I like.
