Wixson for Alexander McQueen
An image linked to popular forum The Fashion Spot (via NYMag) reveals that Kansas native Lindsey Wixson is the face of the upcoming Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 campaign. Considering the speed of Wixson's ascent to the top ranks of the modeling industry (she has landed major campaigns with Versace and Miu Miu), this is not entirely surprising news.

In the image, Wixson appears clothed in a bell-shaped print dress amid a riot of orange and white butterflies. The pouty-lipped teen does seem a perfect fit for the brand, with her undeniably unique and arresting face.

Wixson, 16, was rejected by IMG Models in 2009, only to sign with Marilyn Agency shortly thereafter. She made her debut at New York Fashion Week in 2009, but garnered attention in Milan when she opened the Prada Spring 2010 show as an exclusive. She has since become the face of Miu Miu and Galliano, and has also inked a cosmetics contract with Jill Stuart.
