Carine Roitfeld fashion lineIn this digital age, it's hard to distinguish between truth and fiction. But if a Twitter source is to believed, former Vogue Paris editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld has designed her own eponymous fashion collection.
Young Brit It girl and model Amber Atherton tweeted a photo of a garment with a Carine Roitfeld tag on it. Several blogs picked up the story, pointing out that Derek Blasberg also tweeted a photo of Carine with hairstylist and photographer buds on set the same day. Could it be Carine was in London shooting the lookbook for her new line? Or, is the tag a prank and the conveniently-timed photo simply a side project?
Our bet is the tag is fake, because it looks like it says it's made in Korea. If Carine were to do a line, it would be released to much fanfare with a Tom Ford-esque aesthetic and matching price tags. What do you think?
