
The Fairchild Fashion Group recently announced that Peter Kaplan will take over as Editorial Director. Kaplan is a 15 year veteran of The New York Observer. He also served as editorial creative director at Condé Nast Traveler. His appointment with FFG kicks off on August 2nd.
Fairchild Fashion Group includes Womens Wear Daily (WWD), WWD.com, Footwear News, Menswear, Fairchild Summits, and Fairchild Books. Ed Nardoza remains the editorial chief of WWD and will now be working with Kaplan. Kaplan reports to Gina Sanders, president and CEO of the group.
