Exclusive Interview: Yigal Azrouël at the Academy of Art Graduation Fashion Show

Yigal Azrouël It was a nerve-wracking experience trying to muster up the guts to corner Yigal Azrouël at the Academy of Art graduation fashion show. He's dark and handsome, with a cool-guy swagger. But alas, it's our job to provide you, our loyal readers, with fab exclusive content, so corner him we did. Luckily, Yigal is also incredibly nice, charming and willing to chit-chat. Yigal's background is unique: He's self-taught and keeps a pretty low profile within the industry. Despite having dressed some of fashion and Hollywood's key players, he remains modest and confesses to still getting excited anytime he sees someone wearing his clothes. So even though Yigal says he'd go back to school if he could do it all over again, one of his key pieces of advice to aspiring young designers is to believe in yourself, even if your teacher tells you otherwise.
