Watch a Pianist Play 'Imagine' Outside Bataclan After Paris Attacks
The unnamed man played the John Lennon song for a crowd mourning outside the site where at least 80 people were killed.
It's truly amazing how sometimes a glimmer of beauty and hope can rise from such darkness.
Just hours after at least 80 people were killed at Bataclan concert hall in Paris, a man went to the scene with his portable piano and played a beautiful and somber rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine." He didn't sing the words or make a big spectacle, he simply played the powerful song for the crowd of mourners.
Witnesses say the man towed the piano with his bike and after playing he stood up in silence and wiped tears from his face.
Mourners have also left flowers and candles and messages outside Bataclan.
The French Red Cross is currently accepting donations, as hundreds of volunteers have already been deployed to help victims and their families in Paris. Find more information about what you can do to help here.
