There were plenty of stunning stars at the Emmy Awards Sunday night, but one star stood out above the rest: American Horror Story star Jamie Brewer. The actress, who has Down Syndrome, wore a gorgeous black one-shoulder gown with beaded detailing and red ombre at the bottom. And she looked fantastic.

Brewer was at the awards show to support the American Horror Story cast, as she played Nan on American Horror Story: Coven for nine episodes and was Marjorie in American Horror Story: Freak Show for two episodes last season. The show is up for eight awards and you can bet Brewer will be cheering on her co-stars all evening.

Though Brewer wasn't nominated, she's had quite a great year. In February, she became the first woman with Down Syndrome to walk the runway at New York Fashion Week. "It's amazing that the fashion industry are including individuals with disabilities," she said at the time. "It's an amazing opportunity for women, women that are disabled."

Brewer is an inspiration to women everywhere and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for her!
