Lessons We Learned from Disney Princesses

Since we were little, girls were bombarded with unspoken limitations. We got all the frilly, kitchen-y, doll-minding things, while the boys got to play with being cops, robbers, pilots, and firefighters. 

What Mulan showed us was that it didn't matter if you were a girl - there are no limitations set on you. You can climb up to the top of a wooden post to retrieve an arrow, as well as save the emporor of China like it's no big deal. Maybe not everyone will believe in you, but you can prove 'em wrong.
