2. Take some time to journal.
Whether it's in the morning or post-work, take some time to thought dump in your journal. It can be such an emotionally cathartic process.

Alternately, try making a to-do list, either for the day of or the next day. Not only will you feel more organized and ready to take on the day, I know I always feel that much more productive after I've crossed off every last item on my list.
