Tested: NARS Pro-Prime Instant Line & Pore Perfector(Photo courtesy NARS)If a beauty product claims it has anything to do with minimizing the appearance of pores, our little ears perk up. And if said beauty product also claims to have an effect on wrinkles and fine lines, we get downright giddy. So when we got our hands on NARS Pro-Prime Instant Line & Pore Perfector, we were eager to see if magic really does exist.

NARS claims that the product contains line and pore-filling microspheres with hyaluronic acid to smooth and plump away fine lines. Vitamins A, C, and E also are supposed to provide antioxidant protection. That's all fine and good, but does it work?

We generously applied a few swipes of the pore perfector after exfoliating and moisturizing in the morning before putting on makeup. Although we normally skip the primer stage during our routine—shh, don't tell—we like that this primer and complexion stick is, well, a stick. It's small, portable, and very quick to use. We applied it around the eyes where we tend to find pesky lines and bags, and on the nose where pores seems to be the most noticeable.

The first thing we noticed was how unbelievably non-greasy the stick was. It also quickly absorbed the oil from our nose and cheeks—and just like that shine was gone! Maybe this was just our imagination, but our pores seemed less noticeable. And those sleepy lines around the eyes were hardly present. Magic!

Overall, we're happy to say this little product has earned a place in our makeup bag.
