Microblading 101: What It Is and Why You Should Do It

1. How Does Microblading Work?
Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow solution that involves embroidery of tiny, meticulous strokes that are made to look like real hair. They're individually made with a special microblading pen, which is a needle three times thinner than the needles used for tattooing (and does not go as deeply into the skin, hence being semi-permanent). The pigment (it's very different than tattoo ink) goes under the top layer of skin and the process hurts considerably less than a tattoo. And it gives a much more natural finish than permanent eyebrow tattooing.

The result can last from 8 months upwards of a couple years and will naturally fade over time.
