You Have To Lie About How You Met
The myth: Say you meet the love of your life on Tinder. Now what do you tell your parents — or theirs, for that matter? Obviously, you're going to have to lie about how you met.

The myth debunked: WRONG. Now, this is an easy one. How about this — embellish the truth a little if it bothers you; make up a meet-cute for the purposes of introducing your S.O. for Thanksgiving dinner, if that's your thing. But on the other hand, you can always choose not to lie. Sure, there's a stigma around saying you met on Tinder, or Bumble, or OkCupid, what have you. But isn't it worse to build a relationship with someone you care about based on a foundation of lies?
