Sips and Tips: 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Edition

With Fifty Shades of Grey hot on everyone's minds, we couldn't resist creating a Sips and Tips inspired by the steamy flick. To make our fantasy a reality, we tracked down a bottle of the book's author E.L. James' own Fifty Shades of Grey Wine. To match this decadent White Silk ($18) sip, we called in a pro from PRIV to give us a sexy negative space mani worthy of any Anastasia Steele. The soft gray undertones of the mani set the mood, while the pop of red on the accent nail allow for a touch of playfulness to shine through. Get the tastefully alluring look below.
The Sip: Fifty Shades of Grey Wine in White Silk, a light white with aromatics of lychee, honey and pear tempered by flavors of crisp grapefruit and lush pear with a faint hint of butterscotch ($18).

Striping Brush
Directions:
Prep the nails with base coat. With a striping brush and "Embrace the Grey," create a line across the nail near the cuticle. Fill in space under the line to the cuticle. Use the striper to create another line parallel above the filled in space. Draw a third parallel line using the striper. Fill in the remaining portion of the nail with gray to the tip. Continue art on each nail, alternating in a dash of red with "Romantically Involved" on one accent nail for a surprise dose of color.
