Not only does Donna Karan know how to make pieces women want to wear—she knows how to throw a party. The ringing in of 2014 marks DKNY's 25th birthday, and for the celebration, the queen of urban, downtown-cool made sure she had a few surprises up her sleeve.
No, not just a pair of nylon parachute overalls:

Or the revival of the late-80s/early-90s logo mania:

But—and I know we already gave this away because it was just too good not to—Rita Ora, the label's newest face, walked the runway! Actually, she danced the runway. And it was too amazing for words. (Watch the action unfold for yourself at DKNY.com!)

Of course, Rita wasn't the only superstar catwalker to bring Donna Karan's sports-influenced spring creations to life. Karan always comissions a slew of boldfaced names for her shows.
Joan Smalls opened the event in a twill trench and slouchy denim overalls layered under a blue blazer.

Chanel Iman stunned in a black satin crepe dress with a plunging V-neckline.

And Karlie Kloss closed out the show in a slinky pulse red bias-cut dress with, get this, high-top sneakers. Are you obsessed or are you obsessed?

We can't wait to see what's in store at the #DKNY25 birthday bash tonight! Stay tuned and follow the hashtag for tons more of sure-to-be mindblowing updates.
