Most people know Vera Wang for her much-loved bridal gowns. While she doesn't show her bridal designs during Fashion Week, her collection still maintains the precious detailing and glamorous silhouette women all over the world covet.
So, in honor of Vera Wang's Spring 2013 show, here are our five favorite runway moments from the past five years:
Some of Wang's most major bridal designs feature full floral appliques and cascading ruffles. This gray top spoke to her lavish wedding tendencies and we loved it!
Again Wang knocks it out of the park with her detailing—we're oogling the intricate lace and applique on the bodice, and can't stop staring at those enchanted-looking tangled pearls. How dark and romantic.
How cool is that sequined collar? We also adore how the model looks like she's been wrapped up in black tulle—again Wang achieved a romantic and somewhat dark look at the same time.
For Spring 2011, Wang clearly derived inspiration from mod dress. Between the off-the-shoulder crop top, and sky-high teased updo, she left us swooning for the sixties.
Wang was an editorial smash for her Spring 2012 show. Stepping away from her ethereal black tulle pieces, she was completely on-trend with peplums, cut-outs, and asymmetrical skirt hems.
