While her character on Nashville is up for a number of CMA awards, Connie Britton was happy just attending last night's event. Still, while the actress was presenting Album of the Year, she blushed when fellow presenter Martina McBride mentioned her fictional nominations—not to mention a potential collaboration for the coming year. Perhaps she was caught off-guard without her Rayna James armor. While many stars channel their on-screen personas on the red carpet, Britton went in a different direction entirely, though she still turned to the ABC series’ costume designer Susie DeSanto for help styling her glamorous ensemble:
