Verbalize Your Emotions
Whether you scream them out into the wild, whisper them into your pillow, or tell them to your dog, verbalizing your emotions will help fight your anxiety. It's just a matter of saying, "I feel angry/sad/depressed/etc. because..." You're attributing your feelings to what caused them and verbally recognizing them. In doing so, you take some power away from what's troubling you.
