As a depressive who has anxiety, I'm not just a lot of fun at parties, but I know that journalling does wonders. I rejected the idea of journalling for so long because I write for a living and for a hobby, so I couldn't see how journalling could help. But it does. To keep a journal of your emotions, you can pinpoint what is likely to cause anxiety, as well as how to fight it. You become more in tune with your brain and body when you force yourself to monitor your emotions by writing it all down.
