Collab We Love: Inès de la Fressange for Uniqlo

Collab We Love: Inès de la Fressange for Uniqlo(Source: Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images Europe; Uniqlo 3/4 Sleeve Blouse, $39.90)Inès de la Fressange—designer, former model, and Karl Lagerfeld muse—is the living, breathing embodiment of everything we adore about French style. The Parisian’s trademark look is an easy mix of couture and timeless basics that at once feels sophisticated, a little bit boyish and totally effortless. In other words: the woman is in obvious possession of that fabled French je ne sais quoi.

Luckily for the rest of us, she’s bringing her eminently chic sensibility to the masses in a new collaboration with Uniqlo. The joint collection, out today, is chock full of the casual, classic separates that serve as de la Fressange’s wardrobe building blocks. You’ll find oxford shirts in chambray and floral-print cotton ($29.90–$39.90), drawstring linen pants ($29.90), a range of silk scarves ($12.90) and a jaunty Panama hat ($19.90) among the seriously wallet-friendly wares.

Linen Blended Relaxed Pants, $29.90)The collection rolls out in four phases, with two daywear collections hitting stores first. Later this spring, de la Fressange will debut a relaxed activewear line and a black-heavy range of dressier pieces. The only thing missing? A ticket to Paris, so we can saunter down the cobblestone rues in style. Collab We Love: Inès de la Fressange for Uniqlo(Panama Hat, $19.90. "Pocketable" Parka, $29.90)
