3. Let yourself be ruled by your endorphins, not your emotions.
Indulge a little –– or a lot. Eat a piece of chocolate. Drink a glass of wine. Accept the bad days with the good –– and recognize that being proactive about, and accepting of your own moods is the only way you can avoid being ruled by your emotions.

While there’s something to be said about wallowing in a bad mood (and I’m all for that sometimes; we’re only human), the truth is that every day is a good day to have a good day. And you can always turn it around, you just have to want to.

That being said, sometimes you just have to turn on your favorite tunes and turn the rest of the world off. And by that I really mean turn off your social media notifications, because ain’t nobody got time to see yet another friend’s engagement announcement post on Facebook when you’re already having a bad day.
