Calculate Your Monthly Payments
If you move your debt to a 0% credit card, then you need to make the most of that one year grace period to pay off your debt. Take the amount you owe and divide it by 12 (or however many months you have in the APR period.)

Say you owe $5,000 and you have a 12 month grace period. Divide that balance by a year and you see you have to pay $416 per month. You now have a game plan. Take that amount first every time you get paid and put it directly to your credit card, making sure you're never short in funds to stick to the plan.
