To Browse: ABC Carpet & Home(Courtesy of ABC Carpet & Home)ABC Carpet & Home, one of the coolest décor stores in New York City, is a must-visit for visual inspiration. With a worn-in warehouse feel, this 6-story stunner, right next to Union Square, has an unrivaled collection of unique items.

Their stock is well-edited and includes a bit of everything: counters brimming with one-of-a-kind jewelry from all over the world that feels like an exclusive estate sale, glitzy chandeliers, graphic pillows, decadent candles, plush blankets, patterned kitchenware, piles of antique carpets and opulent home furniture around every corner.

Aside from scoping out their jewelry – blame the fashion blogger in me – I love spending time in their body and beauty section that’s stocked with soaps and aromatic oils. ABC Carpet & Home sells a huge selection of items at every price-point, so it’s possible to walk out with something special no matter how much you have to spend.

Steps away from the home décor store are two ABC-owned restaurants, spearheaded by esteemed chef Jean-Georges. ABC Kitchen (popular for farm-to-table foods) and ABC Cocina (known for smaller, tapas-style plates) are beloved by New Yorkers for lunch and dinner. Be sure to make a reservation in advance. Because of the delicious fare, both restaurants are always buzzing.
