To Shop: Kirna Zabête

To Shop: Kirna Zabête(Courtesy of Kira Luxon)When it comes to boutiques in New York City, few are more famous Kirna Zabête. An oasis for the avant-garde shopper, Kirna Zabête has been a downtown draw for fashion junkies since it opened in 1999.

Owners, Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini, recently expanded to a store double the size of their first; and the merchandising of their new space on Broome Street is out-of-this world.  Its neon décor and striped lacquered floors can make even the most poker-faced fashion fiend feel like a kid in a candy store.

Hailed for a brilliant mix of established and up-and-coming designers, Kirna Zabête is a staple for seasoned fashion editors, stylists and loyal customers who know there’s no place better for innovative clothing.

From Frends headphones (a fashion blogger favorite!) and funky Yazbukey accessories to the latest collections from Christopher Kane and Stella McCartney, the selection at KZ is fresh and exciting. It’s a fabulous place to splurge on this season’s latest trends, but just a simple visit is sure to renew your love and appreciation for all things à la mode.
