But we managed to track her down and get her to reveal some of her tips for surviving Fashion Week.

StyleBistro: What are your five NYFW necessities?
Katie Jane Hughes: A great pair of flats, aspirin, butter LONDON’s Signature Lotion—it’s the perfect daily pick me up for dry skin—my iphone, and my kit.

SB: What's your go-to mani for NYFW?
KJH: Something clean and crisp with a bit of an edge. This season I think I’ll be sporting a floating half-moon manicure.

SB: What's your favorite part of the week? Least favorite?
KJH: The backstage buzz and seeing familiar faces; it becomes a community that's diverse and ever-evolving. [My least favorite part is] prepping nails before the shows. When we’re using press-ons it's the most exhausting, but when you see the final product, it's all worth it.

SB: How much sleep do you actually get during the week?
KJH: You don't want to know. Let's just say I wear a lot of concealer during the week.
