Our favorite fashion correspondent will be working Sunday’s red carpet to get the scoop on J. Law, Sandra and Cate’s Oscar looks. What a job, right?

As she preps for her appearance at the ultimate awards show, she chatted with StyleBistro about the looks she can’t wait to see, her go-to evening makeup, and the new brand collaboration on her fashion resume.

StyleBistro: Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the Oscars red carpet?
Louise Roe: Lupita Nyong'o, because she's daring, she wears every color in the rainbow, and she tries interesting silhouettes. She is fashion's new darling!

SB: She sure is. But you've had some major red carpet moments yourself! Your favorite?
LR: A red lace [Monique Lhuillier] gown I wore to the Golden Globes this year. I loved that dress and the brown smoky eye we created with it.

SB: Speaking of makeup, what's your big-night beauty routine?
LR: I look at magazine pictures for inspiration and then discuss with my hair and make-up guru, Rachel Wood. I love experimenting, but tend to usually go for a dramatic eye, bronzed cheekbone, and natural lip.

SB: You recently signed on as brand ambassador for Caché. What attracted you to the brand?
LR: Caché came to me about working together, and the heritage, the brand's story, the beautiful bright dresses and the flattering fit appealed to me.

LR: There's a beautiful racer-front beaded gown in this this gorgeous blush-meets-rose-gold hue that I can't stop wearing. It's stunning.

SB: And in non-eveningwear news, what casual trends will you be rocking this spring?
LR: Long floral dresses, taupe leather jackets, a lot of denim cut-off shorts, and a Panama hat.
