The Best Photo Of Queen Elizabeth II From Every Year Of Her Reign

9. 1960
If you didn't already know, the Queen loves her corgis. In fact, she's apparently owned more than 30 corgis since she's become queen. It must be difficult to come up with names for all of them, don't you think? Her love of the breed began as a young child.

Check this out — it's reported that the Queen stopped breeding corgis in 2015 so that she wouldn't leave any behind when she died. Her final corgi, named Willow, died in April 2018, but she still had two dorgis (a mix between a dachshund and corgi) left. One of the dorgis died in 2020, and the last one, named Candy, is still alive.
