In early January, we learned that Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley had broken up, though we'd only really known them to be a couple since December 2020. 

Their breakup came about a month after LaBeouf's ex FKA Twigs revealed that she had been abused by LaBeouf throughout their relationship. Then, Twigs did an interview with Elle, detailing the abuse and even said, "It's a miracle I came out alive." 

How did Qualley respond? Well, beyond the breakup, she posted an image of Twigs on the cover of Elle with the caption "Thank you."
