Justin Hartley and Sofia Pernas did start dating in 2020, but it wasn't until 2021 (well, New Year's Eve 2020) that they went full-on Instagram official. 

The two know each other from when they were on soap opera The Young and the Restless together, the same show where Hartley met his ex-wife, Chrishell Stause (awkward...). 

Hartley and Stause began dating in 2014 and married in 2017. Then, in November 2019, Hartley filed for divorce, apparently letting Stause know through a text.
