2018: Saudi Arabia Lifts Ban On Female Drivers
It's painful even to consider the fact that it's taken this long to legalize women drivers in Saudi Arabia, but 2018 was the year in which the ban was finally overturned, after years of protestations and harassment of those would defy such a blatantly prejudicial and sexist law. And that's something to thank our lucky stars for, to say the very least.

As of January 2018, the Saudi Arabian king also overturned the ban on women entering sports stadiums. Utterly revolutionary, we tell you. What next? Women making decisions, like traveling or obtaining a passport, without the need for male guardians? The sky is the limit in 2019, Saudi Arabia. It's time to step up to the plate.
