The Biggest Feminist Wins Of The Decade

2018: Democrats Take The House
If this isn't a feminist win, then I don't know what is. During the 2018 midterm elections, Democrats. Took. The. House. In addition to being something we're grateful for in 2018, a notoriously difficult but transformative year, it's also one of the greatest feminist victories of the decade, and certainly in Trump's America.

Not only are more women running for office than ever before, but we've voted more female candidates in, along with many other historical firsts. In fact, the Blue Wave resulted in the most diverse group of politicians ever before seen in this country. Among them are Ayanna Pressley, the first black woman in Congress; Rashia Tlaib and Ilhan Omar, the first Muslim women in Congress; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the youngest woman ever elected to Congress; and many more.
