Taylor Swift Now Uses Her Wardrobe to Call Out Former Flames

Find out how to steal the superstar's "Style," as seen in her latest music video.

Taylor Swift set the bar pretty high for herself with her last music video—at least in the wardrobe department. We weren't sure how she'd top her montage of high-fashion looks in "Blank Space," especially for her latest single entitled "Style." However, per usual, she surprised us with an entirely different artistic vision that, fortunately for our budgets, boasts more attainable threads—not to mention obvious insight into another one of her romantic relationships.

It's safe to say Style actually refers to one of her former flames. While the new mystery man in the video isn't actually One Direction's Harry Styles, who the song is presumed to be about, it is pal Sarah Hyland's boyfriend Dominic Sherwood. However, in case you need further proof aside from the title and implicating lyrics, allow Swift's not-so-subtle accessory to clue you in: In the video, the starlet carries Styles' signature paper airplane pendant, which she frequently flaunted back in 2012 during their courtship.

Although her apparel took the backseat this time around, we found a handful of her timeless costume changes, which she naturally emphasized with "that red lip classic thing that you like." Snag Swift's style with some key pieces worn in the video: her whimsical lace maxi dress ($390), which she wore in white and backwards; the same structured crop top in black ($50)—her ivory option is no longer available; and a comparable collared gingham frock ($20). We even tracked down a necklace similar to Swift's and Styles' shared memento ($8) for a fraction of the cost.
