Find Out Who LuAnn de Lesseps Doesn't Trust This Season on 'RHONY'
Plus, the Countess shares her simple style tips for on and off screen.
For a minute there, we thought we'd be missing LuAnn de Lesseps this season on The Real Housewives of New York. However, the Countess set us straight when we caught up with her a couple months ago at The Warwick Hotel in Manhattan, where she gave winter guests the chance to live like a Real Housewife with her fabulous weekend package. See what the reality TV star had to share about her style on and off screen—plus what's in store for the Bravo series—just in time for the season seven premiere tonight.
Does your style differ on and off camera? "No, not really. People have been commenting on my fashions since I’ve been on the show, that they love the way I dress in a classic way. I tend to keep my wardrobe classic and embellish with trendy accessories. You have to have the basics in order to dress up. When you have classic pieces, you can never go wrong and they will last you a lifetime. It’s a matter of keeping them up. Spend money on that basic black dress and shoes—if you have a classic pump from Jimmy Choo that cost you $500 and take care of it, that will last you for a lifetime. Make your basics modern by adding big statement jewelry, which I’m known for. I have so many beautiful pieces in my collection that I’ve gathered from all over the world. I like to re-create that collection for my friends at affordable prices—that's what I do with my apparel collection and what I'd like to do with jewelry."
What can we expect from this season of RHONY? "Well, Bethany’s back on the show, and my kids are gonna be a little bit more on the show this coming season. I’ve been missing them, they were not in seasons past. There’s a change in dynamics. Romona [and I] have a whole other attitude going on, so that will be interesting to watch. I still don’t trust her, but I’m giving her a chance. And there’s new alliances; it’s going to be a great season. There’s a lot of women, so we’ll see who stays on the wagon and falls off the wagon—literally."
Tune in to the season premiere of RHONY tonight at 9pm EDT on Bravo.
