Gloria Steinem And Marlo Thomas
Marlo Thomas and Gloria Steinem met in 1967 when Thomas was asked to play Steinem in a TV-movie. She was meant to portray the activist during her time as an undercover Playboy Bunny for a news article — and the sleazy agent who was putting the plan together was actually the one who fostered their friendship.

During a meeting he said "Boy, I don't know which one of you I'd like to f*ck first!" and the two women tore into him, turning it into a bonding experience.

The movie never happened, but the two women became fast friends and have fostered their relationship ever since. “We have been confidantes, soul mates and sisters," said Thomas.
