We loved seeing celebs wear black at the 2018 Golden Globes in solidarity with the #TimesUp and #MeToo movements, but this year saw a refreshing return of color on the red carpet. And with that color came unique silhouettes, ornate embellishments, and extravagant trains. Basically, it was any fashion-lovers dream soiree.

In fact, not one celeb played it safe on this iconic Hollywood night. Classic dresses are lovely, of course, but we live for actresses who deliver fearless looks worthy of the runway. Julia Roberts did just that in her Stella McCartney pant-dress while Lady Gaga was not to be outdone in her periwinkle Valentino gown and its never-ending cape. Fellow A-listers like Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz also joined in the fun, wearing fierce designs we're still reeling from.

We rounded up the boldest style moments from the award show — read on for a close look at every must-see ensemble. Then tell us, which was the most fabulous at this year's fête?

This year's Golden Globe Awards were held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA. Killing Eve's Sandra Oh and Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Andy Samberg hosted the festivities. The night's big winners on the movie side included Bohemian Rhapsody, Green Book, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. On the small screen side, The Americans and The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story both took home awards.
