22. Lucy Boynton At The 2020 Golden Globes
Lucy Boynton went for the shock factor with her charming silver Louis Vuitton confection. The look may seem simplistic from afar, but you may be surprised to learn that the dress took over 400 hours to make. We’re talking 220 hours spent on hand-embroidered details, including 8,000 tiny glass beads that adorned the lace.

We can always count on the Bohemian Rhapsody actress to knock us off our feet with her intricate and eclectic looks. During an interview with WhoWhatWear, the star spoke about her feelings on dressing for red carpets. “Dressing for shoots and red carpets, it just feels like stepping into a version of myself that’s more decorated. More special. I also think fashion is an incredibly important part of what I do as an actress — costumes are at the center of it, and the red carpet is an extension of that. It's like its own little production. It’s like a play. Because when you're younger, fashion is all based in insecurity. It can be an intimidating thing, a self-conscious thing. But it's been really liberating just getting older and deciding... I want to wear this because it makes me feel like me’. I just want to be that person who always looks comfortable and very much themselves. So as long as I feel right in an outfit, I will never regret it.”
