6. Gwyneth Paltrow At The 2020 Golden Globes
Gwyneth Paltrow may have worn one of the most daring dresses of the Golden Globes when she walked the red carpet in a see-through brown Fendi dress. The look featured ruffled sleeves and a floor-length skirt that was layered over matching underwear in the same hue.

And while some may have been shocked by the risqué look, the actress and Goop founder is no stranger to bold looks. In 2002, Paltrow attended the Academy Awards in a sheer Alexander McQueen gown, which she later said she thought she “should have worn a bra.” And for the 1998 premiere of Shakespeare in Love, the Oscar-winner donned a light blue beaded Giorgio Armani dress that featured sheer fabric. Paltrow’s stylist, Elizabeth Saltzman, explained to InStyle the decision behind the star’s alluring look for the 2020 Golden Globes.  "It really does celebrate what she practices. Her whole sense of empowerment. My favorite part of the whole thing is how we [accessorized] it — with a load of jewelry, which I don’t normally do, but it’s just such a cool thing. I went into BVLGARI and I saw all these new designs that I hadn’t seen. Because the dress is so sheer, it kind of makes it almost fairytale-like. It’s very elegant, it’s very luxe, and it’s very Gwyneth."
