33. Jameela Jamil At The 2020 Grammy Awards
Jameela Jamil chose a Middle Eastern designer for the Grammys red carpet: she wore Lebanese couturier Georges Chakra's creation for the big event. The metallic blue off-shoulder gown featured mesh panels in the shingle-tiered skirt, giving the illusion of a mini dress and a ballgown rolled into one.

The whimsical dress came from Georges Chakra's Fall 2019 Couture collection, but Jamil decided to alter it a tad to make it more red-carpet appropriate. The only thing she nixed from the look was the wide satin belt, which created more of an hourglass shape on the runway. The model also wore a black cage net hat, which the actress decided to do without.

While Jamil's couture dress was obviously stunning, fans loved her shoe choice even more. Rather than pairing her designer gown with some equally-expensive shoes, Jamil opted for ASOS boots instead! Wanting shoes she could be comfortable in, she scored a pair of heeled booties from the online retailer for only $52. “What you see and what you don’t see,” she wrote on Twitter. “My ASOS boots under my Georges Chakra couture. Because a girl needs to be comfortable."

The shoes in question were the PrettyLittleThing Lace-Up High Heeled Boots, which are platform boots with metal studs and heavy buckle details. It was the perfect contrast to her fairy tale-like gown!
