16. Dakota Fanning At The 2020 Golden Globes
Big shoulders were a very big trend on the Golden Globes red carpet this year. Dakota Fanning embraced the trend in this fairy tale-esque ball gown by Dior. The Dior Twitter account revealed more details about her dress, stating that it was a "gown by Maria Grazia Chiuri — crafted in lilac tulle thanks to 300 hours of #DiorSavoirFaire — paired with #DiorJoaillerie pieces by Victoire de Castellane."

She paired the look with very natural makeup and her hair was also unfussy, with a simple center part and a bit of waviness. She looked lovely, though some people on Twitter criticized that she should look more grown up on the red carpet now. Someone else commented that she looked "ethereal and outdated at the same time". Whoops. Can't win 'em all.

Fanning, who's actually 25 now, was a presenter for the evening's festivities. She and Ansel Elgort took the stage together and she couldn't help but laugh when he decided to sing part of his lines while presenting the best original song award. The prize ended up going to "I'm Gonna Love Me Again" from Rocket Man.
