Jennifer Lopez dared to be different at the 2020 Golden Globes. She wore a very big, strapless Valentino ball gown to the show, one that actually drew comparisons to a wrapped Christmas gift. With giant gold and green bows on the front, how could you resist? She finished the loop with a giant braided bun that deserved an award on its own.
Though the actress didn't actually win any awards at the show (she was nominated for best supporting actress for her role in Hustlers), she did win the honorary best fiancé ever award. Alex Rodriguez dutifully accompanied her on the red carpet and then when she didn't win, he wrote a very adorable message to her on Instagram.
He wrote: "Jen, it doesn’t take a trophy, medal, or plaque to identify a true champion.
To millions of young women who have watched you and have been inspired and empowered to do amazing things in their lives, you are a champion.
For countless musicians, dancers, actresses, and performers who have seen and emulate your passion, drive and work ethic to find their own success, you are a champion.
To your children, your family, your coaches, your staff, and your extended family, you are a champion.
